Hazrat Qibla Awal Bawajee Hafiz Pir Abdul Karim (Rahmat ullah Aley)

Monday 11th April; 1848 –Rajab 1264 Hijri

Date of Passing – 88 years of age, 20th May 1936, 28th Safar, 1355 Hijri

When Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) (Rahmat ullah Aley) was 3 Months old his honoured mother passed away, when they were 2 years of age his respected father passed away. They were looked after and brought up by there blessed Uncle and Aunty.

Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) came from a very Pious family, there forefathers were from Hall Taqwa. Regarding the spiritual life they took Bayyah from BABA Faqir Muhammad Churahi (Rahmat ullah Aley). Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) completed Hifz of the Quran e Kareem at a very young age. As a young child they were different from other children because they kept out of trouble and bad company. At a young age they saw there grandmother praying Tahajjad and they asked her that “Oh can I pray Tahajjad too? She replied you are too young to pray Salah is not compulsory upon you yet, when you are older you could pray. At that tender age all they desired and love was the religion of Rasoolulah (Salal lah aley hi wasalam).

They used to say to there friends at school do not waste your time in life but only worship Allah.

At a young age they learnt Hadith: Mishkat Sharif, Ahya il ulum, Masnavi Sharif, and Fiqh, and other Kutb of hadith and tafseer. The knowledge of Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) was immense.

During the childhood of Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) They used to say that look how big the sky is, if the sky could be so big then how big would the creator of the Sky Allah be. They memorized the entire Quran e Paak within 2 half years. They learnt Tajveed from the Biggest Master in the field of Qirat at that time. They used to recite in such a way that people used to listen and the words of the Quran would be placed in there hearts automatically. The Non Muslims used to sit on the streets just to listen to the way they recited. In the Month of Ramadan people used to run to the masjid for iftari and sit in the front row and wait for Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) to recite the verses of the Quran e Kareem. People used to say Oh Beloved Master please keep reciting as we will continue to listen to your amazing voice.

They took Bayyah with Baba Fakeer Muhammad (Rahmat ullah Aley) at the age of 25. Baba Faqir Muhammad became an Aashiq of his Maureed Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley). Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) loved there Shaykh so much that whatever they brought they presented to the Shaykh first before his own family. Within a short time both Maureed and Shaykh could not live without each other. They became so close that Baba Fakeer Muhammad (Rahmat ullah Aley) treated them like there own son and gave them Khilafat. Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley)’s Shaykh said “Whatever order I got from Rasoolulah (Salal lah aley hi Wasalam) I am Fulfilling and I am passing over the Ammanah to you”. Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley)’s Shaykh handed over the Sufi Cloak (juba) and the Imamah Sharif and other things. They advised Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) the ruling of the Spiritual World. Once the Khilafat was bestowed upon them thousands of people were enlightened by Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley). In the last days of Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley)’s Shaykh, they sent there son to go and call Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley), as they came, they asked there Shaykh shall I call the other brothers, the Shaykh said Hafiz jee you came in my eyes they are all here because you are here. Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) Shaykh Baba Fakeer Muhammad (Rahmat ullah Aley) passed away and the funeral prayer was led by Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) (Rahmat ullah Aley).

Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) (Rahmat ullah Aley) had a dream that the King of the Universe Rasoolulah Salal lah aley he wasalam) came and Kissed the forehead and said come to Madinah tul Munawarrah. They immediately made plans and set for Hajj. During the journey they had a fire in the ship, everyone was panicking with worry, Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) said to everyone LISTEN forget the worldly things only remember Allah, after this advice Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) went upstairs to pray voluntarily prayers. Remember this if someone house is burning would you pray or would you run? Our Shaykh prayed where there was a fire. After praying Nafal voluntarily prayers) they were granted with blessed good news from Rasoolulah (Salal lah aley he Wasalam) “Congratulations, don’t worry everything is Ok” Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) then announced the news to the people not to worry everything is ok. They made Thanks to Allah and continued to recited Durood Paak upon Rasoolulah (Salal lal aley hi wasalam), When they reached Madinah Paak, they requested in the presence of Rasoolulah (Salal lah aley hi Wasalam) “Ya RASOOLULAH you have filled me with everything, what else can I ask except for you, I don’t want nothing but you, Ya Rasoolulah I want you. I want to live in Madinah Paak for the rest if my life with you, let me remain here, give me permission to stay here, Rasoolulah Salal lah aley he wasalam) gave him further good news Oh my Servant go to this place (eidgah sharif) and sit down and call people towards Madinah Manawarrah and we will give blessings to those people, You will never be alone, wherever you are we are with you. You will be buried at that place and people will be benefiting up till the day of judgement. Whoever takes your hand in allegiance on the day of judgement my intersession will be compulsory upon that person.

Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) (Rahmat ullah Aley) came back and told everyone that my King told me this, that you will be buried here, Ulama and big Scholars made comments against this saying, after the passing away of Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) they realised what a Shaykh Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) was. Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) used to only do one gathering and that gathering was the Milad of Rasoolulah (SALAL LAH ALEY HE WASALAM). The first annual gathering of Milad un Nabi (Salal lah aley he wasalam) they were given good news that the son has arrived is this World Hazrat Hafiz Pir Muhammad Abdul Rahman (Rahmat ullah Aley) on the date of 8th June 1897. After the news of the arrival of their son they announced that after me will be my son. The Successor of Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) was Hazrat Hafiz Pir Muhammad Abdul Rahman Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley). In the presence of Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) (Rahmat ullah Aley) Hazrat Hafiz Pir Muhammad Abdul Rahman Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) they used to deliver Dars e Quran and Hadith. Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) departed physically from this world and the funeral prayer was led by there son Hazrat Hafiz Pir Muhammad Abdul Rahman Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley). After Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) (Rahmat ullah Aley) parted from this world physically, Hazrat Hafiz Pir Muhammad Abdul Rahman Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) became the successor of Bawajee Sahib (Rahmat ullah Aley) (Rahmat ullah Aley).
