Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh , We pray this finds everyone well, wrapped in Allah’s mercy and steadfastly traveling the path to eternal felicity, in sha Allah.

We Present a short Article on Shaykh Abdullah Sirajuddin Rahimahullah from Halab (Aleppo) Defining Hubb (Love).

Shaykh Abdullah Sirajuddin al-Rifai Rahimahullah was one of the Greatest ‘Ulama and Awliya of the past century and an extraordinary scholar and saint who dedicated his entire life to the service of Islam and It is without doubt that Shaykh Abdullah Sirajuddin Alayhi Rahma had an important role in defining the scholarship of Aleppo (Halab) during the past century. the Qutb of Damascus al-Arif Billah Shaykh Abdul Rahman Shaghouri Alayhi Rahma called him “the Pole of Prophetic love of our times.”, Shaykh Abdullah Sirajuddin Rahimahullah passed away on 4t of March 2002.

The late Shaykh Rahimahullah says:

“They have said that the word love (hubb) possesses two ‘ba’s’: it originates from the word ‘hubub’; however, the first ‘ba’ merged with the second ‘ba’ – the lover was annihilated in the beloved, and for that reason the first ‘ba’ was no longer manifested: it disappeared and was annihilated. This is true love: annihilation.”
