The Prophets are alive in their graves and praying. – with scans.


عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ رضي الله عنه قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اﷲِ صلي الله عليه وآله وسلم : الْأَنْبِيَاءُ أَحْيَاءٌ فِي قُبُوْرِهِمْ يُصَلُّوْنَ

ʿAnas b. Mālik reported that Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said:

“The Prophets are alive in their graves and praying.”

Al-Bayhaqī quotes the blessed Ḥadīth in Ḥayāt al-Anbiyāʾ (pp. 3), scan below.
