Abdur Rahman Dimashqiah Confronted By The Ahlus Sunnah (Imam Muhammed Asim Hussain Challenge)

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, After recent criticisms of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah by Abdur Rahman Dimashqiah, Yesterday evening Imam Muhammed Asim Hussain went to meet Abdur Rahman Dimashqiah in Ilford and challenged him to a debate on the permissibility of proclaiming ‘Ya Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam’ as Abdur Rahman Dimashqiah accuses this of being Shirk, polytheism.

Abdur Rahman Dimashqiah mentioned that he will be out of the country next month and that they should ‘debate over the internet’ to which Imam Muhammed Asim replied ‘we will debate face to face so the public, more notably the youth can see and decide for them self who is on the Haq’ as there has been much confusion created with the misguided beliefs of individuals such as Abdur Rahman Dimashqiah. Abdur Rahman Dimashqiah has already been defeated by the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah (Shaykh Asrar Rashid & Shaykh Yaseen) in a previous debate on Bid’ah, failed to keep his word and return to debate on tawassul (intercession) and now it’s quite evident he isn’t prepared to face defeat once again by the lions of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah.

During the deliberations Abdur Rahman Dimashqiah also stated ‘I have a reputation of breaking people’s necks’.  Adding to the idiotism of this self-proclaim Shaykh. There were brothers from both camps who witnessed this. We hope this debate comes to fruition for the sake of who really is on Haq. We also hope Abdur Rahman Dimashqiah doesn’t back down like Murtaza Khan, Ali Hassan Khan and many others have in the past. All praise be to Allah subhanahu wa Ta’ala and infinite blessings be upon His final Messenger Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam.
