Shaykh Malik Arabi al-Sanusi Passes Away in Madinah al-Munawwarah

Bismillah …

Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh , We pray this finds everyone well, wrapped in Allah’s mercy and steadfastly traveling the path to eternal felicity, in sha Allah.

The Erudite Scholar Hazrat Shaykh Syed Malik Arabi al-Sanusi Passed Away in the early hours of the Morning in Madinah al-Munawwarah. The Shaykh was reading pages from Sahih al-Bukhari then he went to sleep and he Rahimahullah passed away. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. May He give him to drink from the Basin of His Prophet (alayhi salat wa salam), that he may never thirst thereafter, and may He enter him into the highest gardens of Paradise! Ameen.

The Shaykh Rahimahullah was an ocean of Ilm and he was a righteous heir of his grandfather, The Late Ascetic and the Erudite scholar Shaykh Muhammad ibn Ali as-Sanusi Rahimahullah. The Shaykh studied with his family and he received a righteous upbringing in a household of Scholarship and he excelled in the Islamic Sciences. The Shaykh Rahimahullah decided to settle in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah and he wrote several poems in praise of Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam).

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Ali as-Sanusi Rahimahullah said: ”I studied the exoteric sciences, devoting thirty years to their study, until I had mastered them and was proficient in them.”
