Hazrat Shaykh Syed Muhammad Baghdadi al-Qadri’s closeness to Rasul Allah and his Wedding


The Wedding and The Karamat of Hazrat Shaykh Syed Muhammad Baghdadi al-Qadri

Shaykh Muhammad Baghdadi was a kamil Wali of Allah Ta’ala , and he was a Kamil Shaykh and a Faqir of Gaus E Azam Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani Alayhi Rahma. Hazrat Sahib was born in Baghdad Sharif and in 1305 hijri he blessed the land of India with his presence. The Grand Shaykh was given the title of Rasul-Numa because Hazrat reached to such a level in Wilayat that during Muraqaba he would make his Mureed do the Ziyarah of Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu ta’ala ‘alayhi wa Sallam!

Hazrat Shaykh Syed Muhammad Baghdadi al-Qadri Alayhi Rahma’s closeness to Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam):

In 1355 Hijri  Hazrat Shaykh Syed Muhammad Baghdadi al-Qadri al-Jilani Alayhi Rahma migrated to Madina Munawwara. Hazrat Sahib stayed there for 10 years and took veil on 15th Muharram 1365 hijri.

Once a god fearing person from South Africa visited Madina Munawwara for Umrah and Ziyarat of Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, he was a true Ashiq E Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam . This noble person was given the basharat by Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam who guided him to Hazrat and beloved Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said go and take bayah with Hazrat Shaykh Syed Muhammad Baghdadi al-Qadri al-Jilani Alayhi Rahma, who is nowadays residing in Madina Munawwara , Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam further said “Taking Bayah from the hand of Hazrat Shaykh Syed Muhammad Baghdadi al-Qadri al-Jilani Alayhi Rahma is like taking bayah from the hand of Ghaus E Azam Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani Alayhi Rahma”.

Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam further showed him the shabi mubarak of Hazrat and also gave him the address of Hazrat who at that moment was staying in Madina Munawwara.

This Person from South Africa met Hazrat and took bayah with his blessed hand and he shared this dream with all the chief Mufti’s of Madina Munawwara. All the Sunni grand Mufti’s visited Hazrat and started taking sohbet from him and all of them universally gave him the title of “Janasheen-e-Ghaus-E-Saqalain”, Hazrats  fame reached to all the corner’s of Arab world and many Shuyukh’s from different parts of Arab countries started meeting Hazrat and took his Sohbet.

Hazrat Shaykh Syed Muhammad Baghdadi al-Qadri Alayhi Rahma’s Wedding:

While Hazrat Sahib was on a journey from Hyderabad (India) to Gulbarga Sharif the Sajjada nasheen of Gulbarga Sharif had a basharat of Ghaus E Azam Alayhi Rahma. The sajjada nasheen sahib said today is the day of Eid as the Shaykh of Shaykhs is in my house , Ghaus E Azam Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani Alayhi Rahma replied “My two sons are on their way to pay homage to your forefather Khwaja Banda Nawaz Alayhi Rahma and I command you to give both your daughter’s in Nikah to both of my Sons” The Sajjada Nasheen sahib replied My pleasure Ya Sultan al-Awliya.

In the morning when both of the Princes of Ghaus E Azam Alayhi Rahma reached Gulbarga shareef , the Sajjada Sahib told them about their dream. Both of the Princes accepts the two Waliya’s selected by their Grandfather Ghaus E Azam Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani Alayhi Rahma.

The Mashaykh of the Qadri and Chisti Tariqa’s who attended this beautiful wedding were heard saying ” This is the best of the wedding of this century , Union of Hasani Princes with Hussaini Princesses”

  2. Masha’Allah, indeed he is a truly a Great Wali of his time and still showering his faizaan on all the disciples of Qadri silsilah. And the reference of his other brother, his elder brother name is Hazrath Syed Abdul Rahman Qadri Ar-Rifai R.A. and he is resting in Roza E Rahmania, Dargah Khitte Saliheen. They are great wali’s of their era and they came to hyderabad on the command of Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam.
