A Gathering of Awliya Allah in Damascus :
The Awliya who were present at the gathering are as follows:
1. Shaykh Ahmad Habbal Alayhi Rahma – One of the 40 Abdaal,
2. Shaykh Abdul Rahman Shaghouri Alayhi Rahma – The Qutb of Damascus,
3. Shaykh Abdul Razzaq al-Halabi Alayhi Rahma – A Master of the Hanafi Fiqh,
4. Shaykh Adib al-Kallas Alayhi Rahma – A Master of the Hanafi Fiqh,
5. Shaykh Said Ramadan al-Buti – A Leading Scholar,
6. Shaykh Abul-Hasan al-Kurdi Alayhi Rahma – The Muqri of Syria,
7. Shaykh Salim Hamami – One of the last living students of Shaykh Badruddin al- Hassani Alayhi Rahma (One of the Mujaddids of the Fourteenth Centaury as well as one of the greatest hadith Scholars of his time),
8.the Family of Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi – The Son of the Erudite Scholar , The Sufi Master , The Gnostic Shaykh Ibrahim al-Yaqoubi alayhi Rahma ,
9. Shaykh Shukri al-Lahfi – One of the Greatest Arifeen of this Time,
10Shaykh Sukr Alayhi Rahma – One of the greatest scholars of tajwiid in the world
As well as some other ‘Ulama and Awliya Allah that were present at that gathering.
