Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi on Shaykh Ibrahim al-Yaqoubi Alayhi Rahma

Sayyiduna al Shaykh Muhammad al Yaqoubi hafidhahullah said in regards to their blessed Father, al ‘Allamah ‘Arif Billah Sayyiduna al Shaykh Ibrahim al-Yaqoubi rahimahullah wa radhi ‘anh that:

“Shaykh Ibrahim rahimahullah would never sleep more than 1-2 hours. His sleep was very shallow and he would wake up when we knocked on the door by the tip of our fingers. When asleep he had his suhba in his hand and the only way to know that he had fallen asleep when he stopped moving the beads. Even when asleep, his lips would continue to move doing dhikr, you could hear the glorious name of Allah being recited.” bi jaah il Mustafa sal Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam wa asraari Suraat ul Faatiha
